Monday/Wednesday Classes: Yoga Flow is a Vinyasa based Yoga class that will focus on connecting breath to movement while increasing flexibility, strength, and a mind-body connection. All levels of physical activity are welcome as modifications are always taught.
Tuesday Class: Beginner/Intermediate level with modifications for Advanced Yoga students. Classes are centered around Vinyasa Yoga that links movement and breathe together. lyenger Yoga, where the focus is on correct alignment of the body. Ashtanga Yoga, where the focus is on routine of specific asanas to build heat in the body. Restorative Yoga, where the main focus is slowing down movement to tap into the parasympathetic nervous system for deeper relaxation. And Shavasana Yoga, where we allow the body, mind and spirit to rejuvenate.
*If you are a Mutu System participant, please inform your instructor as they have been trained to modify movements, so that your Yoga exercises work hand in hand with your Mutu System!
Lindsie Curtis: I have been involved in body movement since I started ballet classes at a very young age and have always enjoyed learning new ways to move and keep myself healthy and strong. I went to my first yoga class almost 10 years ago on a recommendation from a friend after I had my first child and was struggling with some postpartum challenges. I was hooked and have been practicing and teaching classes ever since! I love the focus that yoga teaches on connecting with and appreciating all that our body does for us. I am certified as a Level 3 YogaFit Instructor with a goal to further my yoga education and bring as much knowledge and experience to our classes as I can. I believe it is so important to take care of ourselves and bringing balance to our mind as well as our bodies is so vital in our overall health.
Dani Reese: I received my yoga training as a member of the Idaho Yoga Co-op and have worked diligently to receive my 300-hour Yoga certification and am currently working to be a registered instructor with Yoga Alliance. Through my 300-hour certification, I was able to train in Traditional Yoga, Hatha Yoga, lyengar Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Bikram Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Hot Yoga and Acroyoga. I am currently an instructor for the Idaho Falls Mountain View Hospital Employee program and also for the Idaho Yoga Co-op. I have been a guest teacher at various different dance intensives and yoga workshops and am currently working to receive Mutu Certification along with my Hollistic Health & Nutrition Certification.
